Layout Update June 2026

A layout update video recorded between May and June 2026

This June 2026 layout update video shows the benchwork construction phase, from tearing down the old N scale layout, to setting up the base for the new Buffalo Creek & Western HO scale layout.

Then, I prepared the Peco Streamline Code 70 turnouts by installing the rail joiners and removing the spring that holds the points against the stock rails. Since I will be using Tortoise switch machines, the spring is no longer needed.

I included a short video that shows how I modify the turnouts.
